Germany Beer

Beer in Germany is like no other, they even had Reinheitsgebot law up until the late 1980s stating that beer could only contain the ingrediants water barley and hops. Later the ingrediants list also included wheat and malt and cane sugar.

The law has since been lifted and beer may contain any ingrediants that are allowed in foods, however most brewers still abid to these previous rules in an effort to maintain tradition.

Beer is very cheap in Germany, you will pay around 12 euros for 20 500mL bottles. They are sold as swap-a-crate from shops that also sell bottled water and other drinks in the same way.
